Sheboygan woman sentenced to prison for hiding gun in fatal shooting

An 18-year-old Sheboygan woman has been sentenced to prison for hiding the handgun used in a fatal shooting on the city's south side back in June, according to court records released Monday.

Lydia G. Smith, 1508A St. Clair Ave, was sentenced last week by Sheboygan County Circuit Court Judge L. Edward Stengel to one year in prison and two years extended supervision.

Smith was facing up to 11/2 years in prison after pleading no contest to harboring or aiding a felon for hiding the handgun that killed Brandon J. Davis in the June 16 shooting that witnesses said was accidental. ...
