Martin DeRidder doesn't remember the day he should have died.

The Plymouth man doesn't remember the day before it, much of the day before that, or the month that followed.

The picture has been pieced together for him by coworkers, emergency records, doctors and his girlfriend. But there's one piece missing, and it's the one he alone can complete. It will tell him what went wrong on July 5, 2012, when the crane he was operating collapsed, took another man's life and nearly cost him his own. ...
