A few weeks ago I was in San Francisco photographing the Green Bay Packers as they played, and unfortunately lost, to the 49ers at Candlestick Park.

For me, Donald Driver was the most emotional of the players. And at the time, I was thinking it was most likely his last game as a Packer, so I started looking for him around the bench area during the last minute of the game.

I really felt bad for the guy as I watched him sit on the bench with a terribly sad look on his face. As a photographer, in the moment, I was happy to make the photograph because it was so telling. But as I was editing the pictures after the ...
