As snowfall eases, freezing rain becomes concern

Now that snowfall has tapered off for much of the region, freezing rain may become a concern.

The National Weather Service said another inch of snow is possible tonight for far northeastern Wisconsin, but freezing rain could keep roads slippery throughout the region.

"Motorists should be alert for snow- or ice-covered roads tonight into Thursday morning," the weather-service said in an advisory tonight. "Hazardous travel conditions could be possible at times." ...
