Debi Linssen has taken the motto of doing what you love to the finish.

As the one-year anniversary of owning Snips and Giggles children's hair salon on North Broadway in downtown De Pere has come and gone, she is thrilled with her latest career move.

"I have an 8-year-old daughter, and I didn't like that she was in before- and after-school care, so my husband and I started talking about buying Snips and Giggles," Linssen, 45, said. "I never thought it would actually happen, but six months after those first discussions, we closed on the business." ...
