The Lena High School National Honor Society would like to thank all of our sponsors for participating in the Fifth Annual Toss for Charity during the boys basketball game between Lena and Coleman.

A big thank you goes out to:

Arby's, Burger King, Carol's Cut and Curl, Dair-Ray Veterinary Service, Demmith Hunter's and Fisherman's Tavern, Fox River Fiber, Lena boys basketball team, Lena FFA, Lena golf team, Lena L-Club, Lena NHS and their families, Lena student council and Lena Primary Care.

Lena Shell Service, McGuire's Sports Bar and Restaurant, Northwoods Sporting Goods, Paul Huberty-State Farm Insurance Agent, Roberta Windus-31 consultant, Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home and Cemetery, Saputo Cheese USA, Seroogy's, St. Louis Concrete and the Wildcat Booster Club.

Thanks to these great businesses and spectators at the game, the National Honor Society collected 118 stuffed animals, 164 pairs of socks, 90 pairs of underwear and approximately $1,400. These items are being distributed to the area hospitals, Rainbow House, Newcap and Lena's local fire department.

The money will be used throughout the year to support local charities and National Honor Society service projects. Once again, thank you to all who participated in and contributed to this event!
