How long have you known your friends? Bet it hasn't been as long as a group of women that meets every other Wednesday in Stevens Point.

The group started meeting when Harry S. Truman was president more than 67 years ago and has been meeting regularly since.

"We started a Tupperware party and decided we wanted to get together," said Evangeline Lampert, 85, who grew up in Dancy. "It was always after 8 p.m. after the kids went to bed." ...
