Lincoln County Health Department nets $10,000 grant

Money will help Lincoln County gather data on health needs

A $10,000 grant from the state will allow the Lincoln County Health Department to collect data to better understand the health needs in the county.

The health department received the Community Health Assessment and Group Evaluation, or CHANGE, grant from the Wisconsin Division of Public Health's Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity Program. The CHANGE grant was developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a planning and data collection resource for communities.
