An exercise later this month will test whether Brown County public safety departments are prepared to respond to a mass shooting that involves hostages.

State Rep. Chad Weininger, R-Allouez, and County Executive Troy Streckenbach today announced that the county on Feb. 28 will conduct a small-scale tabletop exercise based on a scenario similar to recent mass shootings elsewhere in the nation.
