A winter weather advisory is in effect for Manitowoc County until midnight tonight, according to the National Weather Service of Green Bay.

The combination of the snow, which fell late Wednesday, and freezing drizzle that occurred overnight has resulted in snow-covered or icy roads and hazardous travel conditions this morning.

The Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office responded to three vehicles in ditches and two accidents between midnight and about 6:30 a.m., said Deputy Inspector Todd Hermann. ...
