The Shaun Novak Memorial Fund has announced it again will make $1,000 scholarships available to Manitowoc County high school students. The fund was established in 2006 in honor of Spc. Shaun Allen Novak, a native of Two Rivers and graduate of Two Rivers High School who was killed by a roadside bomb while in service in Taji, Iraq.

The memorial fund has been generated through donations made by local residents and businesses. The family also runs an annual golf outing and fundraiser that generated the resources needed to complete a special memorial in Two Rivers in honor of Novak and in ...
