Saturday Learning Series: The Schooner Era in Wisconsin, 1 p.m. at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum, 75 Maritime Drive, Manitowoc. Features Peter Hirth of the Wisconsin Marine Historical Society, who will share an overview of the schooner age with photos from the Great Lakes Marine collection. Fee charged. (920) 684-0218.

Candlelight Night, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Woodland Dunes Nature Center and Preserve, 3000 Hawthorne Ave., Two Rivers. Features an evening stroll along a candlelit trail and the chance to scope the night skies with an astronomer. Snowshoes will be available for use if conditions permit.
