Mosinee man thinks window treatment can prevent tragedies

Dick Peterson was enjoying a rare morning off from work at his Mosinee window-tinting business Dec. 14 when his daughter Kristin called him from her home in Newtown, Conn.

Peterson's daughter lives in the community that was rocked that day after 20-year-old Adam Lanza shot and killed 26 people, including 20 children, at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Peterson followed the news about the tragedy during the ensuing days and learned that Lanza broke a window to enter the school. And that set the window expert's mind to work. ...
