Training available for alcohol servers

Training that provides servers the skills needed to prevent intoxication, drunken driving and underage drinking is scheduled for February in Marshfield.

Marshfield Community Alcohol Resources for Establishments and Servers, or CARES, will provide the training, scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Blue Heron Brew Pub, 108 W. Ninth St. Registration is 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

The training is free for Marshfield CARES members and $20 for nonmembers. Businesses can send any number of participants, but training is limited to 18 people.
