Saying the Green Bay Notre Dame hockey team will be battle-tested when it begins the playoffs is probably an understatement.

The defending WIAA state champion and top-ranked squad in Wisconsin is tuning up for the postseason by playing two of the top teams from Michigan this weekend.

The Tritons (21-0) are one of four out-of-state teams among the 43 that are competing at the 13th annual Michigan Interscholastic Hockey League Showcase, which is being held at the Kennedy Recreation Center in Trenton. ...
