Girls basketball: Storm overtakes Wolves in rematch

Kewaunee outplayed or matched Algoma in every quarter of the Feb. 1 edition of the "War on the Shore" girls basketball series, and came away with a solid 48-36 victory on its home court.

The Storm (15-1, 10-1 Packerland) and Wolves (16-2, 10-1) are now tied atop the Packerland Conference standings. If the season plays our as expected, the two teams will share the league title for the third year in a row. Kewaunee also snapped Algoma's 19-game Packerland Conference winning streak.
