D.C. Everest coach Matt Bullis couldn't have asked for a much better start or finish to the first half of the Feb. 1 game against Marshfield.

The Evergreens built an 18-2 lead in the first five minutes of the game and then put together a 13-2 run in the final three minutes of the half en route to an easy, 72-46 Wisconsin Valley Conference victory over the Tigers at the Greenheck Field House.

The win improved Everest's record to 6-2 in the Valley and 11-4 overall. Marshfield fell to 3-6 in league play and 9-8 overall. The win kept Everest one game behind SPASH for the conference lead. ...
