Kimberly clinches FVA girls' basketball title

What began as a "Freaky Friday" start to a game for the Kimberly girls' basketball team ended with a Fox Valley Association championship.

The Papermakers shrugged off a scoreless first quarter by relying on their defense to fuel their cold-shooting offense in Kimberly's 47-27 victory over Oshkosh North at Jack Wippich Court.

The victory clinched the conference title for Kimberly, but the first-quarter start seemed eerily similar to the Papermakers' 31-29 loss Appleton North on Tuesday. ...
