The Swan City Ice Skaters Novice Synchronized Skating Team brought home the bronze medal from the 2013 Midwestern Sectional Championships held in Kalamazoo, Michigan on Jan. 26-27. The team competed against other synchronized skating teams from the central United States and took third place.

With third place, the team qualified to represent the central portion of the U.S. at the 2013 U.S. Synchronized Skating National Championships being held from Feb. 27 through March 2, 2013, in Plymouth, Michigan.

At the National Championships, their team will compete against 11 other teams from across the nation for the right to claim top team in the nation! Prior to Nationals, the team will be competing on Sunday, Feb. 10, at Swan Synchro Skate, which is being held at the Beaver Dam Family Center Feb. 9-10.

The general public is invited to come and watch the local teams and many other teams from Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois and Minnesota.
