Windhover Center for the Arts, along with Someday Travel, will host an informational session for the upcoming art and wine trip to France. The 10-day tour includes the "Best of Provence, the French Riviera and Paris" from Sept. 18-27.
The informational session will be held Thursday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m., at Trinity Restaurant, 40 E. Division St., Fond du Lac.
Kevin Miller, Executive Director of Windhover Center for the Arts, along with Valerie and Wayne Graczyk of Someday Travel, traveled to Italy in 2012 for the first artist trip. The tour included a reception and tour of Andrea Bucci's studio. Bucci is an internationally renowned sculptor whose work was exhibited at the Windhover Center in 2012.
The trip to France will feature Paris-based photographer, Maia Flore. Learn more about her at www.maiaflore.com. The trip will also focus on wine and the culture of France and include stops in Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Montecarlo, Arles, and three days in Paris. The price is $3,898 per person for double occupancy; and an additional $595 for single occupancy.
The all-inclusive tour includes ground transportation to and from Fond du Lac, round-trip air transportation to and from France, lodging in four-star hotels, daily breakfast buffet, experience licensed tour guides, deluxe motor coach to all sites shown on itinerary, train ticket for high speed TGV train to Paris, all entry fees to sites plus tips and gratuities for guides, bus drivers and luggage handlers.
