On a midsummer night, in an enchanted forest where fairies and nymphs make merry and mischief beckons, uncertain love is in the air. A quartet of mismatched lovers and an inept troupe of amateur actors cross paths with the feuding King and Queen of the Fairies in the wondrous wood, resulting in a night of moonlit mirth. Love triumphs at dawn, but not before the trickster Puck has had his way with all. Shakespeare's brilliant comedy of confusion and desire explores the magic of falling in love, and the wonder of waking from the sweetest of dreams.

William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream is one of the Bard's most popular and joyous comedies which is widely performed across the world. This is the Bard at play - a comedy with less sophistication than silliness, more crass than cultured. You won't be abale to keep your nose in the air because you'll be laughing too hard! Director, Al Wallisch, is excited to bring this production to the FDL Community Theatre stage on Feb. 14-16 .

A Midsummer Night's Dream promises laughter, romance and enchantment. Come and share a night of madness and magic at the Goodrich Little Theater, 72 W. Ninth St., at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 14, 15 and 16.

Tickets are on sale for $17 each, at Wegner's Office Department Store, on the corner of Court & Macy St. in FDL and at the box office one hour before each performance.
