A 29-year-old Beecher woman is dead after a one-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Marinette County.

Marinette County deputies were dispatched to County O at the Pemenee Creek Bridge, where they found a southbound four-door Jeep had crashed into the bridge abutment.

All three occupants were taken to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain, Mich., for treatment.

The woman died at the hospital from injuries in the crash. The driver, a 23-year-old Pembine man, and another passenger, a 21-year-old Niagara man, were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The names of all three will be released later, according to the Marinette County Sheriff's Department.

Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve attributed the crash to driving too fast for conditions.

The incident remains under investigation by the Sheriff's Department.
