Guest preacher to bring unique style to GB parish
Bringing his particular style of singing and preaching, Father Joe Rodrigues will start a mission residency at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 2771 Oakwood Dr., on Feb. 16 for five nights. The events, titled "A Passion for Life: dying to live and love," will give the public an opportunity to participate in Rodrigues' unique style for free.
Rodrigues was an advertising executive until he decided he wanted to be a Salvatorian priest. Salvatorians are members of the Society of the Divine Savior, a Catholic religious community founded in Rome in 1881. Rodrigues is currently the Provincial Superior of the USA Province of the Society of the Divine Salvatorians.
Additionally, the Milwaukee-based preacher has released four albums of sacred and secular inspirational music, "Chorus of Faith," "Sing Divine Fire," "Desert Rain," "Spirit of Christmas."
Each night of the residency is free and open to the public.
