A coalition of local officials hope $4 million in state and federal assistance to develop a business accelerator will catalyze development in a proposed aviation industrial park.

Winnebago County and the city of Oshkosh continue to negotiate the purchase of 80 acres of land at the southeast corner of Wittman Regional Airport at an estimated cost of $1.6 million. The land purchase is only part of a $10 million plan to develop an aviation-focused industrial park and business accelerator to help early-stage companies and entrepreneurs.
