New equipment helps show go on for Performing Arts Center of Wisconsin Rapids

For more than 12 years, the Performing Arts Center of Wisconsin Rapids has wowed audiences with local and national performances in south Wood County.

But as the facility ages and technology changes, what used to be top-of-the-line equipment has become outdated and impractical, leaving staff members to rely on backup equipment from other venues in the community, officials said.
