The Rev. Quinn Mann's Popemobile can't hold a dipstick to the Mercedes-Benz that Pope Benedict XVI rides in during public appearances.

But, like the Pope's ride, Mann's Popemobile is a nod to God as it's being used on a cross-country road trip, dubbed Ad Gentes, Latin for "To the People."

The trip also is a way to generate interest in Catholic Youth Expeditions, a ministry the Appleton-based priest helped found in 2002 that offers retreats to youth in the Green Bay Diocese. Mann serves as associate vocations director for the diocese and is the CYE director. ...
