While some people may wish they could celebrate their birthday all year long, at Washington School for Comprehensive Literacy, they're actually doing it.

The Sheboygan Area School District's oldest building celebrates its 100th birthday this school year, and Washington faculty members, parents, students and even community members are marking the momentous occasion with at least one birthday celebration every month.

"All too often with birthdays there's this big build-up and then it's done," Principal Karl Bekkum said. "We want to keep the feeling of the birthday going all year." ...
