Each week, Press-Gazette Media will recognize outstanding prep basketball achievements with the American Family Insurance all-Press-Gazette Media performances of the week. Here are the selections for the week of Feb. 4 to Feb. 9.

Boys basketball performance of the week

Senior Cody Wichmann scored a game-high 20 points in a 64-39 nonconference victory against Sheboygan Falls on Feb. 5 to surpass Dennis Bogacz as Pulaski's all-time leading scorer.

Girls basketball performance of the week

Natisha Hiedeman scored a game-high 30 points to lead Green Bay Southwest past Bay Port 54-45 on Feb. 8. The Trojans sophomore drained five 3-pointers, including three in the third quarter to pull away from the ninth-ranked Division 1 team in the state.

Honorable mention boys performances

Phelps' Ryan Cirese scored a game-high 37 points in a loss at Watersmeet (Mich.) to reach 1,000 career points.

Brevin Pritzl connected on five 3-pointers in scoring a game-high 23 points to help De Pere clinch a share of its fourth straight Fox River Classic Conference title with a 69-42 at Manitowoc on Feb. 8.

Wrightstown senior Cole Van Schyndel posted 16 of his 27 points in the second half of a 71-59 win against Chilton on Feb. 8.

Honorable mention girls performances

Green Bay Notre Dame senior Brianna Byrne moved into third place on the Tritons' all-time scoring list with 20 points in a victory against Green Bay West on Feb. 5 and added 18 points in a win against Fox Valley Lutheran, the sixth-ranked Division 3 team, on Feb. 8.

Oconto junior Laken James posted 14 points in a 49-35 victory against Sturgeon Bay on Feb. 8 to reach 1,000 career points.

Luxemburg-Casco junior Lexi Kinnard made five 3-pointers and tallied a game-high 22 points to help the Spartans upset Oconto Falls 58-55 on Feb. 5.

N.E.W. Lutheran senior Jaci Meilke scored 20 points in a loss against Southern Door on Feb. 9 to become the first player in program history to reach 1,000 carerr points.

Bay Port senior Chelsea Nooker scored a team-high 17 points to surpass 1,000 career points in a loss at Green Bay Southwest on Feb. 8.
