Update: Wausau man found guilty in armed robbery case

A man who was working inside Hardee's at the time of a 2011 robbery will spend nine months in jail and 10 years on probation after reaching a plea deal with prosecutors.

Jacob Juedes, 22, of Wausau, was found guilty in Marathon County Circuit Court on a single count of armed robbery as party to a crime. Juedes faced 40 years in prison and has been held since November 2011 in the Marathon County Jail.

Police said Juedes was one of two employees who were working at Hardee's on Stewart Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. Oct. 5, 2011, when the robbery occurred. A man dressed in a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt ...
