Lourdes takes care of Cambria-Friesland

The Lourdes Academy Knights girls basketball team came out strong, opening up a 39-5 lead by halftime in a drubbing of the Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers 61-14 on Tuesday night at the Castle.

The Knights got things started with a 20-3 first frame and then continued with a 19-2 second frame to take that big halftime lead.

"We came out strong in the first half and really looked to push the basketball," Lourdes coach Ali Fett said. "The girls just really stepped up, all 10 of them." ...
