Brownie Troop donates gift cards, treats and handmade toys to OAHS

Brownie Troop #2347, a group of 11 third-grade girls from four Oshkosh elementary schools, visited the Oshkosh Area Humane Society on Tuesday. It wasn't just any ordinary visit though. The girls had chosen the OAHS as the focus of a community service project. For the past few months, the troop had been working on a series of badges learning about their strengths as individuals, the roles they play in their families, communities and world, and how they can make a difference in the world.

They identified the humane society as an organization they wanted to help and set about to make life a little ...
