The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Student Involvement and Employment Office and Noodles and Company, 101 Division St., have teamed up for the "Fruits of Love" food drive to provide fruit for needy students at UWSP through The Cupboard, a student-run food pantry.

To participate, bring three canned, plastic or glass jars of fruit or applesauce to the restaurant through Thursday and you will receive a "Free Bowl" card good for any noodles, soup, salad or sandwich. There is a limit of two free bowls per person, per day.

The Cupboard, sponsored by Students Engaging in Rewarding Volunteer Experiences, a branch of SIEO, served 147 clients 398 times last semester alone. For more information, call Liz Wescott at 715-346-2260 or email sieovol@uwsp.edu.
