Winter weather advisory

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a winter weather advisory for snow, which is in effect from 9 p.m. until noon Thursday.

Snow will develop by mid to late evening and then continue into Thursday morning.

Snow accumulation of 2-to 4-inches is expected by late Thursday morning. Higher amounts could be possible, according to the weather service.

Untreated roads and bridges are expected to become slippery during the night. Motorists should plan to allow extra time for morning commutes.
