Port Edwards Public Schools will offer an open house on Monday to showcase the exciting learning experiences that take place in the school district. Teachers and students will display and demonstrate examples of curriculum activities and projects. The open house takes place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the elementary school, 951 Fifth St., and from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the middle/high school, 801 Second St.

An orientation meeting for parents of incoming 5-year-old kindergartners also will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the kindergarten classroom at the elementary school. Parents will be given a brief overview of their child's school day and have the opportunity to ask questions. Kindergarten parents who are considering Port Edwards Public Schools under Open Enrollment also are invited to attend.

As part of the open house evening, the Port Edwards Parent Organization will offer a Rocky Rococo pizza supper as a fundraiser from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the elementary school cafeteria.
