Rescue squad involved in accident

A Manitowoc Fire Department rescue squad was involved in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of South 10th and Franklin streets shortly before 6 a.m. Thursday morning, according to Lt. Matt Wallander of the Manitowoc Police Department.

According to Wallander:

The rescue squad was not transporting a patient at the time and was occupied by two fire department personnel, who were taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. ...
