Sheboygan Area School District teachers to get additional training to meet state requirements

Teachers in the Sheboygan Area School District may be required to attend weekly professional development sessions as early as next school year, meaning additional hours on the job for teachers.

At the SASD Board of Education meeting Tuesday night, Assistant Superintendent of Student and Instructional Services Mark Holzman sought feedback from board members on options to increase the time available for staff development throughout the school year. The board took no action.
