Feb. 15, 1956 - Chest drive receive praise: The outgoing president of the Green Bay Community Chest was presented with a certificate at the annual meeting of the Chest at the Northland Hotel.

Walter Greiert pointed out to the more than 100 persons present that cooperation is essential for a successful effort. After his brief talk, he turned the gavel over to Philip Hendrickson, who was elected Chest president for this year.

Other officers are: Dr. Jack Killins, first vice-president; Milton Homuth, second vice-president; Mrs. Merrill Rogoff, secretary; and Herb Steenblock, treasurer.

Also elected were the following directors for one-year terms, Karl Feldhausen, Bernard Berk, Mrs. Randall Holmes, Mrs. John Stathas, James Hansen, Mrs. P.J. VandeCastle, James Everson, Mrs. Stewart Griggs, Mel Wisnefske, Alva Curtis, Mrs. Arnold Servotte, Mrs. John Victor, Joe Skuhra and Karl Mohr.

Members-at-large for three year terms are Rudy Small, Mrs. Donald Cass, Arthur Schaars, Clayton Smits, Hendrickson and Rev. Dean Kilgust.
