A man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving early Friday after he crashed a vehicle at a gas station on Green Bay's south side.

The man was northbound on Ashland Avenue about 12:23 a.m. when he drove past a red light, lost control of his vehicle and slid into the parking lot at Express Convenience Center, 1828 S. Ashland Ave., police said.

The vehicle then hit a vacuum machine and the concrete pillar that holds up the canopy at a gas pump, police said.

Police did not say if the man was hurt.
