It is one-half game behind third-place Wright State but would lose the head-to-head tiebreaker because the Raiders swept the season series. UWGB has a one-game lead over UIC and Youngstown State, which are tied for fifth. UWGB split the season series with UIC but could sweep Youngstown with a win there on Sunday. The top-two seeds receive byes into the semifinals of the Horizon League tournament, while the third seed receives a bye into the quarterfinals. Teams seeded fourth through sixth host first-round games against the bottom three seeds. ... Sophomore guard Cole Stefan has averaged 10.7 points per game in his last three games, when he has made 7-of-12 3-pointers.
Cleveland State update: The Vikings are in seventh place, two games behind UIC and Youngstown State, and have lost two straight and six of their last eight. They are coming off a 30-point loss at Detroit on Tuesday. ... They have played most of this season without their best player, sophomore forward Anton Grady, who sustained a knee injury in the sixth game and hasn't returned. He's expected to redshirt. ... Freshman guard Bryn Forbes leads CSU in scoring and ranks 13th overall in the Horizon League at 12.3 ppg. ... CSU's two Wisconsin natives, guards Charlie Lee (Milwaukee Hamilton) and Junior Lomomba (Madison Memorial) have played extensively. Lee, a sophomore has started every game and averages 10.5 ppg. Lomomba, a freshman, comes off the bench and averages 6.4 ppg.
