Girls basketball: Kewaunee bests GB Notre Dame for 11th home win

The Kewaunee girls basketball team (17-1, 10-1 Packerland Conference) overtook a well-prepared Green Bay Notre Dame (14-6) squad 51-47 on Feb. 12. It was Kewaunee's 11th straight home win.

The Storm fell behind early 12-8 in the first quarter, but took over in the second period and at halftime they led 25-20. In the third quarter the Tritons cut the Storm's lead to only three points, but in the end Kewaunee hung onto the victory with a 13-11 fourth quarter.
