Gov. Scott Walker announced Thursday during a stop at Marshfield Clinic he will include $3.75 million for cancer research and treatment in his 2013-15 budget proposal.

The funding will help make University of Wisconsin's Carbone Cancer Center diagnostic imaging technology available at other medical centers such as Marshfield Clinic through the new Wisconsin Oncology Network of Imaging Excellence.
