A couple and their teenage son in the process of moving to the Wausau area from Oklahoma were killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning near Wausau.

Roy L. Kato, 34, his wife, Jenny R. Kato, 34, and their 13-year-old son, Joshua Kato, were killed at about 8:35 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Highway K and Decator Drive in the town of Maine, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

The couple's 5-year-old daughter, Brook L. Kato, was taken to Aspirus Wausau Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. She was treated and was released, according to a hospital spokesman. ...
