Prep boys hockey: D.C. Everest still buzzing over 3-OT playoff game

After playing in perhaps the most memorable playoff game in the history of the D.C. Everest boys hockey program, Evergreens senior co-captain Cole Halligan went home Thursday night and watched the end the 4-3 triple overtime win against Antigo over and over again

"I couldn't sleep. I must have watched the last goal on Facebook about 80 times before I finally went to bed," said Halligan, who scored the game-tying and winning goals - both on penalty shots - to lift the Evergreens into Tuesday's WIAA sectional semifinal with Wausau West.
