Taking on cancer extends beyond the physical process. Patients, family and friends all can benefit from emotional support. They need to be able to reach out, connect and share.

Ripon Medical Center's Cancer Support Connection is available to help those individuals and families facing cancer diagnosis and is an opportunity to connect with others who are also affected by cancer - patients, family and friends.

Cancer can leave people feeling overwhelmed, afraid and alone. Sometimes it can be difficult to cope, or even to talk with the most supportive family members and friends. A support group, like the Cancer Support Connection, gives people facing similar challenges the opportunity to connect in many ways.

The Cancer Support Connection is free and open to anyone facing cancer - patients, family members, friends and other loved ones. No registration is required.

For more information on the Cancer Support Connection, contact Linda Powell at 920-748-9134.
