Education levels increasing in Northeastern Wisconsin

More people have higher levels of education in Northeastern Wisconsin and, in many cases, education levels are going up faster than the state average.

U.S. Census Bureau survey data from 2011 focusing on the population aged 25 and older shows a declining number with only elementary school education since the 2000 census in Wisconsin and most area counties.

The percentage with only a high school education also shrunk statewide and most area counties. The percentage with at least some post-high school education has increased above 2000 levels in all seven area counties included in the ...
