HOLLAND - The Morrison Fire Department responded to a blaze Friday night that left a barn completely destroyed.

Morrison firefighters arrived at 7321 Holly Mor Road in Holland before 6 p.m. Friday afternoon, and Fire Chief Bill Lasee said the structure unsalvagable.

The structure was a horse barn, and all items inside the facility were destroyed, but all animals escaped unharmed. He said a cause is undetermined because firefighters needed to tear down the facility to get better access and put the fire out.

The property is registered to Curtis E. and Mary F. Hilgenberg, according to Brown County Tax Records and the barn is valued at $5,200.
