The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay women's basketball team took its biggest step yet in securing a 15th straight regular-season league championship.

UWGB beat Youngstown State 60-46 in front of 3,388 at the Kress Events Center on Saturday afternoon, extending its winning streak to 16 games and beating YSU for the 29th time in 30 meetings. In beating the second-place Penguins for the second time this season, the Phoenix now lead every team in the Horizon League by at least three games with just five games remaining.
