It's late-morning in a classroom at Pulaski High School.

Some students are scribbling in notebooks, others are studying on laptops or iPads and a select few are dressed in full-on chef uniforms cutting garlic, practicing knife cuts and preparing a three-course meal.

Among them, Liz Moehr, their Family and Consumer Science teacher, checks up on their work and offers advice: "Make sure after you cut it, though, to put it in the cooler." ...
