WIAA girls basketball: De Pere, Notre Dame among area's top seeds

Five area teams, including De Pere in Division 1 and Green Bay Notre Dame in Division 2, earned No. 1 seeds for the WIAA girls basketball tournament that begins a week from Tuesday. Kewaunee in Division 3 and Algoma and Oconto in Division 4 round out the area's top seeds.

Among the local teams seeded No. 2 are Pulaski in D2. Wrightstown in D3, Coleman in D4 and N.E.W. Lutheran in D5. Several others in the area ranked in the top four of their respective regionals, including Bay Port and Green Bay Southwest at Nos. 3 and 4 in Division 1, fourth-seeded West De Pere in Division 2, Oconto Falls at No. 4 in ...
