Cathedral Book & Gift Store will hold a grand opening and open house from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at 131 S. Madison St., on the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral campus.

Cathedral Book started its existence as St. Catherine's Book Store, but with a new purpose comes a new name. Book store managers say it is evolving from a mission to encourage fine arts to one of providing authentically Catholic resources. The name reflects that as well as its location.
